Holy Hangover

Last night I went to the gym, set some PRs, then promptly went out for drinks for my birthday (which is Sunday). Today I feel like total fucking ass. But  terrible hangovers aside, I about about to fly to California for a mini birthday vacation so I can’t complain too much.

3/15/13

Breakfast:

  • 2 jumbo eggs in olive oil. 
  • black tea

Lunch at Miso in DUMBO:

Sometimes I get the pleasure of dining out alone, and I fucking love it. I ate a shitload of food, read a book, drank some tea. It was a really wonderful lunch break. 

  • miso soup
  • 10 pieces sashimi
  • shrimp & vegetable tempura
  • 2 cups green tea

Dinner/Pre-lifting: 

  • 2 grilled chicken tacos
Texas Method, Week 4 – Intensity Day

Squat: 1×5 @ 215# (5 rep PR)

Press: 1×5 @ 70# (5 rep PR)

Post-lifting: 

  • 2 scoops whey

Out with friends:

  • 2 oysters
  • some weird bar mix (with wasabi peas, corn nuts, and cashews)
  • way way way too much whiskey

Breakfast:

  • 3 jumbo eggs and cream scrambled (olive oil in the pan)
  • Giant pile of sweet potato hash
    • 2 sweet potatoes
    • 1/2 an onion
    • 1/4 bell pepper
    • rosemary
    • parsley
    • olive oil
  • 1/4 an avocado
