Loggin it, sloggin it, bloggin it, loggin it.

Dude, I don’t know what’s going on today but all I want to do is eat! I haven’t eaten this much food in a while. Perhaps lifting (basically nothing) reignited my appetite. Or perhaps my period is going to sneak up a little early this month. Or perhaps I am just hungry because I’ve been at a rather significant calorie deficit for the past three weeks. Whatever it is, it’s definitely there… I should probably be more mindful of my snack attacks if I really want to lose weight though. Especially with all this cream, I am supposed to watching my dairy intake, but I am totally not listening to myself. Meh.

Since I loath non-productive complaining, I think I will now set a small goal to not eat ANY dairy tomorrow. Perhaps one day of perfect paleo will get me back on track.

P.S. DIETING IS HARD.

Enough complaining though,
Things to be celebrated:

  • Not drinking a beer when offered one at work this evening.
  • Not eating any of the DONUTS, TWO GIANT CAKES, BAG OF BREAD, AND BOX OF CHOCOLATES that were available at work over the past two days.
  • Never eating out of the candy bowl at work (WTF?! why is my job so full of junkfood!?)
  • Getting my butt back to the gym!

Morning Weight – 154.6#
Sleep: 7 hours of god awful sleep. For some reason I could NOT stop thinking about getting up for the gym in the morning.

Breakfast/Pre-Lifting: 

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 32 oz water
7am Training at Golds:

So, I totally have a locker, showers, 2 squat racks, round plates, dumbbells for years, battle ropes, and a fucking sauna! What have I been doing all this time?! Super psyched to be starting here. In addition to all the awesome shit listed, I got the pleasure of seing a crazy lady doing  karate chops with her hands while doing 250# for a 3″ range of motion on the leg press AND a dude doing curls in the squat rack… for real. I thought that was a joke, but on DAY ONE this is what I see!! DAY ONE!

Anyway, all joking aside, loving the new set up. Now to log my embarrassingly low numbers…

Squat – 3×5 @ 65# MUCH better than Saturday’s 🙂 Excited that perhaps working up won’t be has bad as I had feared. These felt great when I paid attention to not hyperextending my back. One one rep I wasn’t focusing and I lost it, and I immediately felt it. Lesson learned.

Front Squats – 3×5 @ 65#

Bench – 3×5 @ 75#

Deadlifts – 1×5 @ 135#

ABZZZZZZ – decline bench sit ups

I really need to figure out what the fuck I’m going to do for programming…. I’m worried I’m gonna get real bored of ‘Rehab SS” real fast. I am already feeling the urge to fill in like 8zillion accessories. Maybe I will. Anyone have suggestions?

2nd Breakfast/Post-Lifting

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 pieces bacon
  • 2 cups coffee
  • A shot of orange juice
  • 32 oz water

Lunch:

  • Tuna Salad, Salad… hmmmmm 
  • 1 cup coffee
  • 32 oz water

Dinner – take out from an Indian place.
Late Night at the Office.

  • 1 pint lamb korma, drank it like soup. 
  • 32 oz water

Snack:

  • 4oz smoked Salmon
  • 1 tbsp middle eastern style spiced yogurt
  • a couple slices of a cucumber
  • about 10 small olives

More Snacks: 

  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries/blueberries
  • a bit of cream poured over them
