Making it Work, When Shit Comes Up

Not much to post… it’s Tuesday, the most boring day of the week.

I went out for both lunch and dinner today. This is something I’ve been trying to avoid while focusing on fat loss, but fell into today because of random life circumstances (it happens and I accept that). I ate moderately while I was out, I skipped my snacks, and stayed under my calorie goals. My macros were not 100% on target today, but they were fine considering.

In “progress” news, I officially weighed in below 155 pounds this morning (153.8# to be exact), which is very exciting 🙂 I believe this is the first time I’ve weighed below 155# without following a strict paleo diet since…. hmmmmm…. ever(?!). Cray. I’m feeling really good with my calorie counting ways and unlike the paleo diet (which I followed on and off for years), I’m not feeling like OMG I CAN’T WAIT UNTIL THIS CHALLENGE IS OVER SO I CAN EAT WHAT I WANT!!! Because now, I am eating whatever I want (just not eating a lot of it, and not eating it all the time). It’s almost like all those people preaching “everything in moderation” are on to something.

Anyway, as I said, nothing too exciting going on today. It’s Tuesday.

I went for a two mile walk for my back off week conditioning 🙂 It was BEAUTIFUL outside this evening!
