Training was fun this morning. Kept it light and had a nice time with my lifting partner, who I feel like I haven’t seen in forever because of all these vacations.
Anyway easy work, nice recovery day while getting ready for GORUCK.
Bench: 45×5, 55×5, 65×5, 75×5, 85×3
Squat: 45×5, 96×5, 135×3, 135×3
Chins: 4 rounds — 1 chin, 1 jumping chin
Abs: Weighted Decline Bench 2 sets of 15 at 25#
Stretching: Yoga & other silly bullshit
Saunad, showered…. then realized that I didn’t pack work shoes. Bleh. So, rather than spend an hour commuting back home and then back to work, I stopped at a little boutique and bought some fancy turquoise pumps on the way into the office 🙂 I ❤ NYC.
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups kale
- olive oil
- Salad — greens, turkey, egg, avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, olive oil.
- 2 cups watermelon
- 1 bowl tom yum soup
- 1 bowl thai green curry with extra veggies instead of rice.
