Whole Life Challenge

I signed up for the Whole Life Challenge a week or so ago. A got a bunch of my friends and co-workers to do it with me and we’re all off to a great start! Our team is Team Zissou 🙂

Basically just eating clean and trying to stretch, workout, supplement, and hydrate on a regular basis. It’s been fun so far. I did a workout with my co-workers today for the baseline workout. I was still pretty beat up from GORUCK but I did fine and it actually felt great to move around again.

Warmup

10 minutes of stretching and mobility

Workout

2 minutes 25m sprints – 11 sprints
1 minute rest
2 minutes, 5 push ups, 5 squats – 11 rounds, 5 push ups. 
1 minute rest
2 minutes sit ups – 46 sit ups
1 minute rest
2 minutes 25m sprints – 6 sprints

Food Log:

Breakfast:

  • 2 eggs in butter with parsley

Lunch: 

  • 4 cups mixed greens
  • chicken
  • pico-de-gallo
  • tomatoes
  • olives
  • peppers
  • almond slices
  • avocado
  • olive oil & lemon juice

Dinner:

  • 3oz salmon
  • 3oz chicken
  • 1/2 a head of radicchio, grilled with balsamic vinegar

Snack: 

  • handful of almonds
